Stakeholders
Northern BC Tourism Association stakeholders are all communities, businesses and operators involved in tourism within the Northern BC region.
This is a vast area that spans along Highway 16 from Mount Robson west to Haida Gwaii, and north to the Yukon and Northwest Territories border. Register as a stakeholder for free so we can best represent you, your interests, and include you in our development and marketing initiatives.
Northern British Columbia Tourism Association is a non-profit association.
We are led by a board of directors elected by industry and our team is a diverse group of experienced communication professionals who all share a common passion for travelling and experiencing northern BC. We are committed to creating a strong and healthy tourism economy while minimizing the impact on our natural and cultural resources by promoting sustainable business practices and responsible travel.
Northern BC Tourism Association (NBCTA) works to develop, support, and sustain the tourism sector in northern BC.
It is one of six regional destination management organizations in the province. Northern BC Tourism is working with Destination BC on a newly created Destination Development program that brings experienced facilitators to work with various stakeholders to develop a long-term strategic direction for destination development. We also work together with Indigenous Tourism BC to advance Indigenous Tourism in our region.
