Beyond the Horizon

Tourism Experience Development Program

Building on the success of the original pilot in northeast BC, the Beyond the Horizon Tourism Experience Development Program is expanding across northern British Columbia through three regional cohorts. Designed for tourism operators, organizations, and entrepreneurs, the program helps participants develop new or enhance existing visitor experiences through expert facilitation, one-on-one coaching, practical tools, and collaborative learning. Participants will strengthen market-ready tourism experiences while gaining valuable insights into experience design, visitor expectations, pricing, testing, and routes to market.

Each cohort is limited to 10 participants, who will receive more than $5,000 in training, coaching, and experience development support at no cost. Delivered by the Northern BC Tourism Association in partnership with Destination BC and Indigenous Tourism BC, the program supports Destination BC's Invest in Iconics Strategy by strengthening northern BC's visitor economy through authentic, locally rooted tourism experiences.
