Northern BC Tourism Association’s summer marketing campaigns are now in market, showcasing the diverse experiences available across Northeast BC, Northwest BC, and Go North RV. Running throughout the summer travel season, the campaigns are designed to inspire travellers to explore northern BC through targeted advertising in key Canadian and U.S. markets.
Visit Northeast BC
The 2026 Northeast BC summer campaign is now live, featuring refreshed creative that builds on the region’s well-known Big Five experiences. This year’s campaign expands the focus from individual destinations to clusters of activities and experiences travellers can enjoy in and around each of the Big Five locations.
New creative assets include five motion graphics, each highlighting one of the Big Five alongside the surrounding adventures, attractions, and experiences that help tell a broader story of the region. One new static creative was also developed to support the campaign and drive traffic to related content.

The campaign is currently being promoted through paid Google, Meta, and programmatic advertising channels, helping reach potential visitors during their travel planning journey. Performance results will be reviewed through an interim report expected later this summer.
Visit Northwest BC
The 2026 Northwest BC summer campaign is also underway, with creative designed to shift the conversation from simply highlighting things to do toward capturing how it feels to experience the region. The campaign reinforces Northwest BC as a destination that offers everything travellers seek in a British Columbia vacation, from outdoor adventure and cultural experiences to scenic landscapes and welcoming communities.
New creative developed for 2026 includes two motion graphics and three static advertisements. These assets are currently running across paid Google, Meta, and programmatic advertising channels to engage prospective visitors throughout the summer season.



An interim performance report will be shared in the coming months to evaluate campaign results and audience engagement.
Go North RV
The 2026 Go North RV summer campaign is currently in market, running from April through August across Canada and key U.S. markets.
Based on strong performance from previous campaigns, the decision was made to continue using existing creative assets that remain highly effective and have additional market lifespan. By leveraging proven creative, the campaign can continue building awareness of northern BC as a premier RV destination while maximizing marketing efficiencies.

The campaign is actively reaching RV travellers through targeted advertising placements, and an interim performance report is expected within the next couple of months.
As summer travel continues across northern BC, these campaigns work together to showcase the region’s experiences, encourage visitation, and support tourism businesses and communities throughout the north.
