Anthony Everett

Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of Northern BC Tourism Association, Anthony has 20 years of tourism industry experience. Anthony’s specialization in travel media relations gained him positions as manager of travel media relations for Tourism Victoria and account director for Tartan Public Relations, before he accepted the challenge to experience and promote BC’s north.

As CEO since 2007, Anthony steers the organization towards its goals, oversees staff, and keeps the organization moving forward

Clint Fraser

Strategic Planning and Marketing

In this diverse role, Clint works with the Community Relations team to develop the overall regional community tourism development and marketing strategy. Apart from this, he manages the production of regional guides and administers the regions’ digital assets (video and photography).

Clint holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of Northern British Columbia and has held positions in the brewing Industry and Economic Development. He also spent time attending film school in Vancouver, and has experience in marketing to attract film production.

Jillian Greenwood

Travel Trade and Community Development

Based in Prince Rupert, Jill is responsible for the north’s travel trade program, working as part of the provincial team. In this capacity, she attends trade shows and marketplaces, coordinates tour operator FAM trips in the region, and provides assistance to our trade partners.

Additionally, Jill is responsible for community development in the northwest region, working with communities to determine their tourism development and marketing needs, and assisting in planning and implementation of projects.

Susan Hubbard

Regional Media Relations Representative

Susan is the Travel Media representative for northern BC, and works as part of a provincial team, spearheaded by Tourism BC. Gathering information on new products, interesting operators and unique experiences from around Northern BC are one side of this job. The other side involves initiating and maintaining relationships with travel media, providing information and imagery, arranging media trips, and obtaining support from stakeholders for media visits.

Additionally, Susan handles corporate communications, developing plans, materials and releases to best represent NBCTA and its mission.

April Moi

Community Development

Working from the Fort St John office, April helps communities take part in Tourism BC’s Community Tourism Development Programs. Experience as Visitor Centre Manager for Tumbler Ridge and SuperHost leader gives April valuable insight in helping communities find ways to meet visitors’ needs. Recent knowledge gained through Royal Roads University Graduate Certificate Program, Destination Development and Sustainable Tourism contributes to her expertise.

April also works with partners to advance Aboriginal Tourism and assist with special community projects.

Lois Arlt

Finance

Lois joined Northern BC Tourism in June 2008, after working in the accounting field for 30 years. She has spent most of her time working in public practice, and brings a wide variety of business skills and valuable local contacts. In addition to being our Finance guru and master of the Excel workbook, Lois is the valued office baker. Contact Lois with your finance-related questions.

Tasha Peterson

Projects

Tasha joined the team in 2010 after graduating from the University of Northern BC’s Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management program.

At NBCTA Tasha implements the i-Share Visitor Centre program and is our Social Media voice on Facebook (Northern British Columbia) and Twitter (@TourismBCNorth, @RVNorthernBC, and @FishNorthernBC). Having “come south” from the Yukon, Tasha can truly be called a northern girl.

Hilary Erasmus

Marketing

Hilary has been with Northern BC Tourism Association since 2007 in marketing, development and community roles. Now working part time, she focuses on the management of the Tourism Partners co-operative marketing program.

Hilary attended Simon Fraser University and has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Before moving to northern BC, she held marketing positions in resort management and real estate development in Vancouver.

 

Valerie Trembley

Finance

Valerie is the newest member of the NBCTA team, joining us to assist in the financial department. In addition to a strong background in accounting and business operations, Val also keeps NBCTA in tune with what’s happening with business in the industry – she and her family manage a Prince George area RV Park.
